D418 macroporous polystyrene chelating resin is a cation exchange resin with amino phosphonic functional groups. This resin essentially chelates all divalent metal ions, with a special selectivity for alkaline earth metals. D418 is an ideal resin suitable for brine softening. It can be used to remove divalent metal cations from industrial wastewater and other industrial waters. D418 is mainly used for refining secondary brine in the ion membrane caustic soda production process, reducing calcium and magnesium ions in secondary brine to 20 ppb. At the same time, the resin's exchange capacity and mechanical strength are superior to similar foreign amino phosphonic acid resins. In addition, D418 can also be used for the recovery of heavy metals in electroplating wastewater.
Product D403 is a chelating ion exchange resin with imino diacetic acid groups [-N-(CH2COOH)2] attached to the benzene rings of a copolymer bead of styrene and divinylbenzene with a macroporous structure. Its selectivity for metal ions is similar to that of EDTA and superior to strong acid or weak acid cation exchange resins. When monovalent and divalent metal ions coexist in solution, it selectively adsorbs only divalent ions. This product is suitable for removing Ca2+ and Mg2+ from brine in electrodialysis salt water purification and is also used for wastewater treatment and recovery of precious metals.
