D101 Product Manual
1. Product Introduction:
The D-101 macroporous adsorption resin is a styrene-type non-polar copolymer (crosslinking agent is divinylbenzene, pore-forming agents are toluene and octanol). It has a broad range of applications and exhibits strong adsorption capacity for non-polar or weakly polar organic compounds. It is especially effective for the separation and purification of saponins, and is also suitable for flavonoids and alkaloids. Examples include ginsenosides, notoginsenosides, diosgenin saponins, and ginkgo flavonoids.

3. Product Features :
1. Milky white or light yellow color facilitates handling and operation, making it easy to observe the separation and purification of colored organic compounds.
2. Physicochemical properties are stable; insoluble in any acid, alkali, or organic solvents. , Facilitates the selection of adsorbents and desorbents.
3. Good selectivity for organic compounds and unaffected by the presence of inorganic salts.
4. Easy regeneration; regenerants can be water, dilute alkali, dilute acid, or low-boiling organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, acetone, etc.
5. Good mechanical strength and long normal service life.
4. Resin Pretreatment:
Industrial-grade resin contains residual inert solvents, so before use, pretreatment to varying degrees is required according to application needs: add ethanol to a level 10-20 cm above the resin bed in the extractor for soaking. 10-20 cm of ethanol soaking above the resin bed. 3-4 hours, then drain the soaking liquid for the first extraction process. Repeat washing using the same method until the soaking liquid collected at the outlet, when mixed with water in a test tube, shows no turbidity. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water until no obvious ethanol odor remains, and the resin can be used normally. After packing the resin column, backflush with water to expel gases from the resin to prevent gas blockage affecting adsorption. 3 Backflush with water to expel gases from the resin to prevent gas blockage affecting adsorption.
5. Enhanced Regeneration:
When the resin's adsorption capacity decreases after normal use for a certain period or is severely contaminated, enhanced regeneration is required. The method is to add a 3-5% hydrochloric acid solution to a level 10-20 cm above the resin bed for soaking. 10-20 cm above the resin bed. 3-5% hydrochloric acid solution soaking. 2-4 hours, then rinse with 5-7 times the volume of hydrochloric acid solution of the same concentration, followed by thorough rinsing with clean water until the outlet wash solution's 5-7 times the volume of hydrochloric acid solution rinse, then rinse thoroughly with clean water until the outlet wash solution's pH is neutral. Then soak with sodium hydroxide solution using the above method for 5% sodium hydroxide solution soaking as above. 2-4 hours, rinse with the same method using 5-7 times the volume of sodium hydroxide solution, then rinse thoroughly with water until the effluent 5-7 5-7 times the volume of sodium hydroxide solution rinse, then rinse thoroughly with water until the effluent pH is neutral, then it can be put back into use.
6. Precautions:
1. The resin contains moisture; storage and transportation should maintain a temperature of 5-40 º C to prevent freezing at low temperatures and mildew at high temperatures, which would affect use.
2. Resin should not be directly injected with water if exposed to air or dehydrated to avoid floating. It can be treated by soaking in ethanol to restore its wet state, then rinsed clean with water.
3. Adsorbate ( Solution ) Before loading onto the column, impurities should be removed, and the solution should be filtered and clarified. , Avoid impurities entering the resin column as much as possible. , To prevent acute poisoning of the resin. , Affecting its use.
4. When resin use is interrupted, it should be thoroughly washed with water, soaked and stored in clean water, with regular water changes to prevent contamination. It can also be stored long-term by soaking in saturated saline or ethanol.
