    4. Product Applications:

    Mainly used for antibiotics, traditional Chinese medicine extraction and separation, plasma separation and purification, preparation of stationary phases for trace element enrichment, organic wastewater treatment, etc.

    Examples:

    1. Adsorption of hawthorn flavonoids: using a concentration of 2.0 mg/mL hawthorn flavonoid aqueous solution, pH value is 3 for column adsorption, , column flow rate is 3 BV/h, adsorption effect is best. ; Using 3 BV volume fraction of 70% ethanol as the desorption agent, the desorption rate is relatively high. ,解吸率较高。

    2. Adsorption of morning glory red pigment: X-5 resin has a strong ability to adsorb morning glory red pigment, , adsorption amount is 76.1 mg/g wet resin. ; Methanol is the best eluent for elution. , Elution recovery rate is about 92%. 左右。

    5. Pretreatment of resin

    Industrial-grade resin may contain chemical residues such as dispersants, pore-forming agents, and inert solvents, so it should be pretreated according to the following steps before use.

    1. Before packing the column, clean the adsorption column and pipelines, and drain the water inside the equipment to prevent contamination of the resin by harmful substances.

    2. Add water equivalent to the resin filling volume into the adsorption column, 0.5 then put the new macroporous resin into the column, release the excess water from the bottom of the column, and keep the water level about 20 centimeters above the resin layer surface until all the resin is transferred into the column.

    3. Slowly add water from the bottom of the resin, gradually increase the water flow rate to make the resin bed nearly fully expanded, maintain this backwash flow rate until all bubbles are expelled and all particles are fully expanded; small resin particles will be flushed out.

    4. Use 2 times the resin bed volume ( 2BV ) of ethanol, pass through the resin layer at a flow rate of 2BV/h , and keep the liquid level height, soaking overnight.

    5. Use 2.5-5BV ethanol, 2BV/H at a flow rate of

    to wash the resin layer until the effluent mixed with water is no longer white and turbid. a. 6.
