The D-101 macroporous adsorption resin is a styrene-type non-polar copolymer (crosslinking agent is divinylbenzene, pore-forming agents are toluene and octanol). It has a broad range of applications and generally exhibits strong adsorption capacity for non-polar or weakly polar organic compounds. It is especially effective for the separation and purification of saponins, and is also suitable for flavonoids and alkaloids. Examples include ginsenosides, notoginsenosides, diosgenin saponins, and ginkgo flavonoids.

    D-101 Macroporous adsorption resin is a styrene-type non-polar copolymer (crosslinking agent is divinylbenzene, pore-forming agents are toluene and octanol).     4. Product Characteristics :

    1 - Milky white or light yellow color facilitates handling and operation, making it easy to observe the separation and purification of colored organic compounds.

    2 - Physicochemical properties are stable; insoluble in any acid, alkali, or organic solvents. , - Convenient for selecting adsorbents and desorbents.

    3 - Good selectivity for organic compounds; unaffected by the presence of inorganic salts.

    4 - Easy regeneration; regenerants can be water, dilute alkali, dilute acid, or low-boiling organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, acetone, etc.

    5 - Good mechanical strength and long normal service life.

    5. Resin Pretreatment:

       The purified resin has undergone deep treatment and can be used directly without pretreatment. For safety, it can be soaked and rinsed once with ethanol or double-distilled water before use. After packing the resin column, backwash with water to remove gases from the resin to prevent gas blockage affecting adsorption.                 

    6. Enhanced Regeneration:

      When the resin's adsorption capacity decreases after normal use for a certain period or suffers acute severe contamination, enhanced regeneration is required. The method is to add a 3-5% hydrochloric acid solution soaking above the resin layer by 10-20 cm. 10-20 cm 3-5% hydrochloric acid solution soaking 2-4 hours, then rinse with the same concentration 5-7 times the volume of hydrochloric acid solution, then rinse thoroughly with clean water until the outlet wash solution pH is neutral, then soak with sodium hydroxide solution by the above method 5% hours, and rinse with the same method until rinsed with 2-4 times the volume of sodium hydroxide solution, then rinse thoroughly with water until the effluent 5-7 pH pH is neutral, then it can be put back into use.

     

    7. Precautions:

    1 - The resin contains water; storage and transportation should maintain a temperature of 5-40 º C to prevent freezing at low temperatures and mildew at high temperatures, which affect use.

    2 - If the resin loses water due to exposure to air or other reasons, do not add water directly to avoid resin floating. It can be treated by soaking in ethanol to restore moisture, then rinsed clean with water.

    3. Adsorbate ( Solution ) Before loading onto the column, impurities should be removed, and the solution should be filtered and clarified. , Avoid impurities entering the resin column as much as possible. , To prevent acute poisoning of the resin. , Affecting its use.

    4 If resin use is interrupted, it should be thoroughly washed with water, soaked and stored in clean water, with regular water changes to prevent contamination. It can also be soaked in saturated saline or ethanol for long-term storage.
