H103 is a type of large-pore adsorption resin, non-polar, mainly developed for adsorbing and separating small molecule organic compounds, belonging to the polystyrene system. Due to the use of a special manufacturing process, the pore size is very uniform and it has a high specific surface area. It is widely used in organic wastewater treatment, removal of organic residues in food, removal of pesticide residues in agricultural products, and removal of organic residues in traditional Chinese medicine, among other applications.

  • 1. Product Introduction:

    H103 is a type of large-pore adsorption resin, non-polar, mainly developed for adsorbing and separating small molecule organic compounds, belonging to the polystyrene system. Due to a special manufacturing process, the pore size is very uniform and it has a high specific surface area. It is widely used in organic wastewater treatment, removal of organic residues in food, removal of pesticide residues in agricultural products, and removal of organic residues in traditional Chinese medicine.

    3. Reference Operating Conditions:

    1. Adsorption:

    Organic Impurity Concentration: < 1 (such as acetic acid, acetone, methanol, benzene, formic acid, etc.)

    2. Desorption:

    Desorption Solution: 1~2 N NaOH, methanol or acetone

    4. Product Applications:

    1. Mainly used for organic wastewater treatment, capable of removing or recovering most organic substances.

    2. Juice purification, decolorization of fruit acids, and removal of bitterness.

    3. Separation and purification of antibiotics, vitamins, steroids, amino acids, enzymes, etc.

    4. Separation and recovery of non-polar substances from polar solvents, such as phenol.

    5. Adsorption and separation of flavonoid substances.

     

    5. Main Treatment Processes:

    1. Comprehensive Wastewater:

    Wastewater ---- Flocculation and Sedimentation ---- Plate Frame Filtration ---- Quartz Sand Filtration ---- Resin Adsorption ---- Discharge up to standard or reuse

    Resin Desorption --- Production Reuse

    Common desorption agents: acetone, methanol, ethanol, 2-5% sodium hydroxide

    2. Single Wastewater in Production:

    Resin Adsorption ---- Desorption and Reuse

    3. Wastewater difficult to treat to standard with a single resin:

    Two to three types of resins can be selected for stepwise adsorption and desorption.

     

    6. Resin Pretreatment

    The purified resin has been deeply treated and can be used directly without pretreatment. For safety, it can be soaked and rinsed once with ethanol or double-distilled water before use. After loading the resin into the column, backwash with water to remove gases from the resin to prevent gas blockage affecting adsorption.

     

    7. Others

    1. Product Transportation and Storage:

    Store the product in a wet state, preferably at temperatures above 0°C; if unused for a long time, it can be sealed or stored in 5% the above saline solution; during transportation, mainly prevent freezing, and do not place heavy objects on the resin to avoid crushing.

    2. Before liquid enters the resin column, it should undergo flocculation, filtration, or sand filtration to ensure no suspended solids, preventing blockage of resin pores.

    3. Resin not used for a long time in the column should be cleaned and removed for storage, or stored in saltwater in a salt-resistant medium. If stored in the column, keep the surface moist and perform periodic backwashing to loosen the resin and prevent caking and damage.
