On August 9, 2016, the signing ceremony between Hebei Lijiang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Professor Shi Zuoqing, a leading figure in China's ion exchange resin field, was successfully concluded. At the meeting, Chairman Mao Jiang delivered a speech, warmly welcoming Professor Shi Zuoqing to serve as Honorary Director and Technical Advisor of Lijiang Biotechnology.

Since 1980, Shi Zuoqing has been engaged in fundamental research on the synthesis, structure, and performance of new ion exchange resins and adsorption resins. Focusing on functional polymer materials for pharmaceutical research, he has developed multiple types of functional polymer materials with independent intellectual property rights, including selective adsorption resins, solid-phase synthesis carrier resins, immobilized enzyme carrier resins, and polymer chromatographic fillers, and has realized the industrialization of these scientific research achievements.
